Kent, WA, August 8, 2025 — Torklift Central, a trailblazer in vehicle customization and upfitting, has completed the first-ever installation of a liftgate on the new 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV for McKinstry, a national leader in construction and energy services.

Maintaining Original Appearance and Functionality
The installation preserves the original look of the Silverado EV. The liftgate is fitted without interrupting the truck’s body lines, and the factory tailgate can be reinstalled if needed—allowing the vehicle to return to its original configuration.
Technical Challenges and Solutions
With the 2025 Silverado EV introducing a new electric platform, integrating a liftgate required custom engineering and fabrication. Torklift Central’s team carefully designed a solution that met both performance and aesthetic goals.
