UTOPIA Washington has provided over ten years of service, advocacy and fostering self-confidence to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) Native Hawaiian and Pasifika/Moana people, also known as Queer and Trans Pacific Islanders (QTPI's) in Washington. Since 2009, youth, adults, and elders have come to UTOPIA WA from all levels of society and at various stages of their journey of self-discovery. We provide love, support, and guidance that is often missing in their lives. UTOPIA WA is the only local 501(c)(3) organization devoted to Queer and/or Trans and Gender Diverse Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders in the area. Our organization has grown immensely in a short amount of time, and we continue to advocate and champion our QTPI-BIPoC communities in Washington.

The UTOPIA Washington Annual Lu?au is our signature event celebrating Pasifika Queer & Trans identities, our youth, adults, and families in Washington. You will experience firsthand, the beauty and creativity of our QTPI community as we bring forth our talents, heritage, and histories in a cultural production that leaves our audiences speechless every year. With your support, UTOPIA Washington will continue to meet the needs of our youth and communities. Every day we see the smiles on faces, the spark of imagination, anger at injustice, and the determination to make the world a better place. UTOPIA Washington will always provide a sacred and welcoming space to our community in need.
