More about the luncheon: The Puget Sound region is in a period of rapid growth. Due in large part to a strong regional economy, Sea-Tac Airport’s annual passenger count is expected to nearly double in the next 20 years. Sea-Tac must prepare for this growth and continue to invest in its infrastructure to keep its place as a premier international airport and fulfill its mission as an economic engine. The Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP) will develop a long-term blueprint for the future development of the airport over 5-, 10-, and 20-year timeframes.
