About the venue:
When the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks first opened in 1916, they were considered an astonishing engineering feat. They still are. This national historic site is host to 1.5 million visitors a year from all over the world and each year, more than 75,000 vessels and two million tons of cargo pass through the locks. At The Canal, you’ll have a deckside view to all the picturesque marine traffic on this historic waterway and you will be just a short walk from the famous fish ladder and underwater viewing windows, where Sockeye, Chinook and Coho salmon can be seen migrating through the canal to Lake Washington.
