At that time the original menu (which is still posted in their coffee shop area) boasted a "Burger Plate Special" including salad or soup and potatoes or fries for a whopping $1.00!\n\n \n\nIn 1999 Jim & Suzanne\, along with close family friends Kelly & Janine Sturm\, bought the restaurant. In keeping with the established theme of community involvement\, they began many new traditions. Just a few of these are  an Annual Community Thanksgiving Feast\, Historical Society's Annual Fundraising Dinner Auction & Kent Food Bank's Annual Fundraising Breakfast. school
