SUMMARY:Girls F.I.R.S.T all Day STEM Feild Trip
DESCRIPTION:This is an inspiring and fun day to volunteer for!  We need 20-25 mentors on October 23rd at Kentridge High School to make this event a success! Please consider joining us for this fun STEM day. \n\nVolunteer Time Commitment from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m.\n\nThe Day:  Volunteers arrive at KentRidge High School at 8:15 a.m. for a continental breakfast\, training and to meet with the high school mentors participating in this day.   At 9:45 a.m. the middle school students will arrive and we will begin the welcome and orientation.  From 10:45 a.m. to noon the student teams and volunteers will work together to build and program the robot.  We will then break for lunch - lunch will be provided for the volunteers.   From 12:30 to 1:30 the students and mentors will showcase what their robot can do and from 1:30 to 2 p.m. we will form a high five line and hand out awards and certificates.  The students and volunteers will depart the school at 2 p.m.\n\nSponsor this day for $250.  Show that your company believes in the future of our girls by providing them an inspirational and confident building day.  This sponsorship includes logo branding on all the GIRLS F.I.R.S.T materials from Kent Chamber of Commerce.\n\nor\n\nJoin The Boeing Company and Oberto in sponsoring all the Chamber Education Programming including this event along with our Financial Reality Fair on October 19th.  Our third and final program of work will include the Principal for a Day program during National Education week in November.\n\n$500 Name Branding on ALL Educational Program Material\n\n$1\,000 Logo Branding on ALL Educational Program Material
